Gallery Seven: Decay | |
| Most people are conditioned from an early age to fear decay. In its own way it is as important as growth; they are the diurnal aspects of the universe. If I looked at from a purely esthetic point of view, rot gives us some of the most luxurious textures and colours seen in natural or fabricated objects. While the scent of animal decomposition is strong and proximity can carry airbourne dangers, vegetable rot, when handled properly is fascinating - just don't breathe in the spores. | |
